Human Research Protection Program/Institutional Review Board
The OVPRI Human Research Protection Program provides guidance and resources for researchers and IRB members at Virginia Commonwealth University.
We review all research involving human participants to facilitate the conduct of ethical research and ensure compliance with federal, state and institutional regulations.
See this HRPP blog post for important information about managing your IRB study during the COVID-19 pandemic and what investigators should do in various situations.

Available consultation types include pre-submission consultations, reliance consultations, and Post-Approval Monitoring and Quality Improvement (PAMQuIP) consultations.
